CbS- Producer of Enameled Copper and Aluminium Wire
CbS is a producer of Enamelled Copper and Aluminium Wire. Products are delivered corresponding to the Indian standards or to customer specific requirements.

High quality standard for Enamelled Wire Products
The production process at CbS issubject to fine-meshed control of all product and process parameters. The effectiveness of the quality assurance measures has been confirmed by external auditors and our customer, repeatedly.

Environmentally Compatible Products
We are concerned that our enamelled wire is produced environmentally compatible and contains a minimum of pollutants. Independent laboratories have confirmed with their corresponding certificates that enameled wire from CbS is compatible with environment and is RoHS certified.

Enamelled Wire –Applications
Dual Coated Wires are suitable for all "H + " (220°C and 200°C) Class and above applications such as dry type transformers, stator winding fractional and integral H.P motors, D.C Field and Armature windings, Motors for Hermetic grade, Hand tools, Chemicals Industries, Furnaces and high Torque, continuous rated, all Home appliances machine motors, Auto electrical, coil application-varnished or unvarnished. Excellent suitability for refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
Single Coated Wires are suitable for all "H","F" and "B" Class application such as dry type transformers, stator winding fractional H.P. motors, D.C field and Armature windings. Polyester coated wires have very good chemical resistance and compatible with all general purpose impregnating varnishes including high temperature modified phenolic polyester and others which do not contain the reactive solvent.


ENAMELED WIRE
Besides carrying out routine electrical, mechanical, and chemical test-checks, our manufacturing process and quality control measures include following additional features:

  • Tandem Resistance annealing of bare copper wire rods on modern Rod Breakdown Machine.
  • Modern Ultrasonic Die Cleaning and maintenance equipments.
  • Modern filtration systems for filtration of wire drawing lubricants and good quality lubricants to ensure good finish on bare wires.
  • Viscous and dry type oil filters in series to eliminate dust particles from entering into Wire Enameling Department. This helps substantial improvement of die-electric, pinhole, thermal and chemical properties of finished enamelled wires.
  • Wire Enamelling plants equipped with catalytic burning of vapors in re-circulating type of ovens, which provides solvent free environment in the curing zone of the plants. This imparts excellent mechanical, electrical and thermal properties to the magnet wires.
  • The linear speed of wires in the enamelling machines are controlled by modern electronic systems.
  • Use of inline (tandem) wire drawing machines for improved bare wire and better speeds, larger packing.
  • Use of solid dies for wire enamelling to ensure concentricity of the insulation film.
  • Use of load cell to ensure proper tension at the time of spooling.
  • Use of metering pumps for wire enamel discharge and automatic synchronization of line speeds with pumps.
  • Our products have good elongation and low spring back making them suitable for CNG (high speed automatic) coil winding and insertion machines.
  • In addition to various standard quality control equipments , we are
    also equipped with additional instruments to carry out the following tests:
    • Cut –through
    • Continuity for pin-holes upto 3000 volts at 120 l a
    • Abrasion tester o Spring back testes
    • High voltage tester for wound stators.
